TV Series Synopsis
Each episode is a stand alone, examining a different person struggling with a different mental illness. Being research based, the viewer is able to watch a person existing with and working through their mental health struggle in a way that helps us better understand, and therefore empathize with their experience. After the research based, scripted narrative, there is a five minute documentary helping us better understand what this experience is like on a scientific level. The goal of Anamorphosis is to create a bridge of understanding between those afflicted by mental illness and those who yearn to understand their plight. We humanize those who suffer from mental illness by documenting their daily experiences through education-based entertainment.
